CHOOSE YOUR TOPIC

•Each of our assemblies use motivational speaking through the mediums of magic, juggling, and comedy.
•Your performer comes fully equipped with his own sound system and all needed equipment.
You will only need to provide space in which to perform.
•All assemblies can last between 30 and 45 minutes.  (We are ALWAYS flexible in order to meet YOUR schedule needs.)

Character Education Can good character ever be stressed enough?  Each of our character assemblies share a central theme:  Respect for self and each other.  When we learn to respect ourselves, value our peers and hold our elders in high regard we can begin to address every other aspect of good character.  Through juggling, magic, enthusiasm and a touch of poignant and age appropriate communication, we will be sure to emphasize and strengthen your students sense of good character.

Drug Awareness/ Resistance Red Ribbon Week is not the only time to talk to students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  This assembly takes a unique educational approach to raising drug awareness.  It goes beyond just telling kids to "not do drugs."  But instead, talks about the risks, and honestly addresses the temptations for young people.  Our performers carefully balance an entertaining "show" with the delicate subject matter in an age appropriate way.  Special attention is paid to lesser talked about 'drugs' that young people are especially susceptible to: Asphyxiation games and inhalants. REMEMBER: Dallas School Assemblies makes EVERY effort to make our assemblies age/grade appropriate.  Please consider multiple (or separate) assemblies so we can more carefully teach students from different grades:  K-2nd; 3rd-5th; 6th-7th; 8th-10th; 11th-12th.
•Pass Out Game
(as a corollary subject, asphyxiation games can be addressed as a separate assembly if desired.)
Gangs, Adversity Youth Centers, Alternative Schools and High Schools looking for a harder hitting and more challenging look at drug resistance may be interested in our school assemblies that do NOT use variety arts.  We also offer assemblies on overcoming adversity and taking a bold and realistic look at drugs, gangs and crime.  Recommended for 9th grade and up.

Test Readiness When it comes time for testing we all need some encouragement!  This assembly will address pre-test stress, mind and body preparation, what to do when the test 'gets you down', and simple reminders on effectively taking multiple choice tests.  This is a popular assembly for students just before taking the state tests.  (TIP: Get a second, discounted assembly for those students at your school who may not be taking the test.)
