Roster of Performers
Only nationally touring and highly experienced  performers are contracted through Dallas School Assemblies.  Look no further to find high quality edu-tainers for your public, charter, and private school assemblies.

Darren Collins
Darren's first school assembly performance occurred when he was in the 5th grade.  A juggler came to his school to talk about 'character' and used Darren as a volunteer.  Darren juggled in front of the whole school as his peers chanted his name.  He was hooked!

Years later (1997) Darren began traveling the United States and abroad as a full time performer and workshop teacher.  He has performed in thousands of schools, churches, and comedy clubs in over 45 states and 13 countries.  He has authored several childhood education manuals and books.

Darren is our showcase performer and the founder of Dallas Performers.

Tim and Amanda Cowles
Tim and Amanda are both world class puppeteers and ventriloquists who have been covered in many of the nation's leading newspapers and magazines including the New York Times. In 2007 they were honored to be invited to perform for their peers at the Vent Haven Convention. They now tour the United States performing for children and families with a colorful, fast paced, and motivational show. Tim and Amanda specialize in performing edu-tainment school programs for Pre-K thru 5th grade that feature magic, music, and puppetry.

Rafael Rondon (se habla español)
Rafael Rondon has been performing for over 15 years as a professional circus-style clown and magician.  In 1997 he helped develop and star in several creative arts training videos designed to teach child educators.  Children's Outreach Network introduced "Rafi" and Darren that same year.  Together in 1999 they performed for over 8,000 young people in an arena in Bogotá, Colombia.

Rafael is also a professional interpreter/translator and can perform bilingual or Spanish language assemblies.

Rafael and his wife Marilyn live in Tarrant County.

Steven Collins
Steven is our "heavyweight" speaker for High Schools and youth centers on "drug resistance" and "adversity" topics. He is a been-there, done-that type of man.  Incarcerated for most of his adult years in some of the country's toughest prisons, Steven has been in recovery from drug addiction for over six years.  From his own life experiences, Steven teaches 'drug resistance', and 'overcoming adversity' seminars at the prisons he once inhabited, as well as youth and adult rehabilitation centers, schools and colleges.  Steven spent over 11 years in various state prisons, and his powerful message is guaranteed to connect with your youth.
